While growing up in a small town in 1991, Chad Chancellor had an experience that would chart the direction of his career. A Fortune 100 company laid off his father to move a manufacturing plant overseas. From that day on, Chancellor made it his life’s mission create economic growth for small and mid-sized companies, communities, and nonprofit organizations.

Chancellor Co-Founded Next Move Group, LLC, in 2014. As Chairman & CEO, he is responsible for the implementing the company’s long-term mission of creating economic growth for small and mid-sized companies, communities, and nonprofit organizations.  He is best known for his content creation via the “We Are Jobs Podcast” and the Next Move Group YouTube Channel.

Under Chancellor’s leadership as CEO, Next Move Group has serviced more than 900 customers from coast to coast and international clients from Germany, Brazil, Canada, and Israel.
Chancellor has served on the Boards of Directors for the 17-state Southern Economic Development Council and the American-Canadian Chamber of Commerce. In 2010, the 17-state Southern Economic Development Council honored Chancellor with their most prestigious “Service to the Profession” award.

In 2017, Chancellor was honored to have completed the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses accelerator program written by the nation’s most prestigious entrepreneurship college, Babson College based in Wellesley, Massachusetts.  Additionally, Chancellor is a graduate of Mississippi State University with a degree in marketing and minor in human resources, and he is an alumnus of Delgado Community College in New Orleans.

Outside of work, Chancellor is a huge sports fan with his favorite teams being Mississippi State, the New Orleans Saints, the St. Louis Cardinals, and the St. Louis Blues plus all things golf.
